It is a beautiful place to stay over if you are into motorcycle adventure camping. The Old Grafton Road, which takes you down into the Mann River Camping Reserve is sealed branching off the Gwyder Highway (Glen Innes to Grafton) is full of tight twists and turns, so access for camper vans is possible but a significant challenge. There is no power, only rainwater for boiling from the couple of rainwater tanks at the main shelter.

Well worth a visit, road in from Glen Innes is steep, I wouldn't take my 20'van there but it's quite doable. Fire wood provided and two pit toilets. The river is picturesque.

Lovely little campground by the Mann River. Toilet block, access to tap water, picnic tables, camp spots have fire pits. Camp 1 had possums in tree hollow, and Kangaroos around. Relatively remote campground, with access from Geln Innes side very steep and windy, continues east on gravel road. River is nice for a dip on a warm day in September! Book online NSW National Parks.

Visited in September, site 9. Access from Glen Innes way, windy road, but all bitumen, one small causeway. Big camp sites, personal firepit / BBQ hotplate and billy chain, good quality picnic table on site, also public BBQ area with free electric BBQ. Ample firewood, long burning. BEAUTIFUL running water, plenty of land to explore, rapids to play in... Toilets clean, no smell, but BYO soap. IMO, Site 10 has the best private stream access, lovely small grassy area between camp-site and stream. Will definitely be returning.

What a magic spot. Level gravel campsites with individual fire place and wood provided. Clean compost toilets and plenty of water ( untreated good for washing dishes). On the Old Grafton to Glen Innes road. Day trip through the historic tunnel worth the drive, very narrow winding gravel road, allow plenty of time and pack picnic lunch...no facilities.
