BIG4 Explorers Caravan Park

This is a very pleasant caravan park with well kept grounds and lawns. The sites are spacious and some offer shade. Amenities are clean and looked after.

Phoned during office hours. A couple of times well spaced. Rang out. Left message on answering machine. They didn't return the call. Booked and stayed at Cunnamulla instead. A shame ... Thargo seems a much nicer town than it's bigger brother ...

We were supposed to be camping on the river when the weather turned and storms rolled in. We were so grateful that these wonderful people got us a couple of room and let us roll some swags out on the floor. Kept us dry and comfortable. Can’t thank you enough! Will be back!

Another western caravan park, it will be dusty folks like all Western caravan parks. Amenities are new and clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have firewood for sale and firepits mounted on old lawn mower decks. Overall, it's a great park.

My Mum and I stayed in a cabin. It's a little small, but we had the fold-out bed folded out which is why it was a little small. However we were comfortable sleeping and having some down time sitting around and whatnot when in the cabin. Also the bathroom and kitchenette of the cabin were lovely. And, since so much of the town is close by with little and infrequent traffic it's really enjoyable to walk around town sightseeing and stopping at any of the public places with seating.
