Brisbane Gateway Resort

Our experience at this campsite was very disappointing. Although the facilities themselves are very good, we left our shower and beach towels in the designated clothes drying area next to the bathrooms. When we went to shower this morning, all of our towels were gone. It seems that someone found them useful and decided to take them. After this, we went to the reception to report what had happened. While we understand that the campsite is not directly responsible for the behaviour of other guests, we were offered no solution at all. They told us they could not provide replacement towels, nor could they offer any kind of discount or compensation for the night we had already paid for. There are no security cameras or any form of supervision in that area either. We understand that the theft itself is not their fault, but it is supposed to be a safe place to leave your belongings, and now we are forced to buy new towels. What disappointed us the most was the lack of empathy. The staff simply repeated that it was not their responsibility and said they were sorry, but made no effort to help or offer an alternative. Overall, the customer service was very disappointing.

Our first time staying and it's just been the most wonderful stay. Rooms are lovely and equipped. Very spacious also. The resort staff are so helpful and accommodating. We are planning a return trip later this year, we'll definitely be back. When we arrived, I was greeted by the most helpful and friendly hostess in the office.. the families here have also been so lovely and social. Thank you for making our visit so memorable x can't wait to come back

Lovely place to stay with the family, bus station next door saved so much money and time. Great spacious rooms very quiet even though it is adjacent to the freeway. Only issue the toilet had to be cleaned from previous occupants urine still around the bowl and seat. We would come back and recommend to others.

Close to major shopping centre at mount Gravatt with all the cool stores, family friendly with games pools and bbq , every accommodation from camping , motor home spots, caravan , trailers and cabins and villas, buses and shared bathroom or ensuite cabins and the place is clean and tidy mini golf also. Vending machines , great laundry access in one of the several bathroom amenities blocks which mind you the locals don't mind if you use the services as long as you clean behind yourself . .when I was living in my van regularly showered and laundered here and had no issues :)

We recently stayed at Brisbane Gateway Resort and from the beginning the friendly staff especially the man who helped secure our booking were so friendly and helpful. When we arrived they decided to upgrade us to a 2 bedroom cabin so we were closer to our futsal team as we were there for the National Futsal tournament. And when our team made it further in the tournament we asked for a later checkout time and it wasn’t a problem for them to give this to us. The cabin was so neat, very clean and tidy. It was a lovely place to stay. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
