Hidden Lake Campground

This place is a hidden gem. The grounds are well cared for as it is a family run campground. They have laundry, shower, and a lake right beside for a very reasonable price. Too low if you ask me. If your in the area I would 100% recommend! Also one of the numbers is no longer in service so if you reach a deadline there should be another number listed you can call.

Hidden Ranch is descent enough for an overnight stay and has lots of trees. You do have highway noise but that should be expected being that close to the highway. The fee they charged ($30 at the time of this writing) is excessive for what you get. There is a shower but older pit toilets. A sign indicates the water is potable but it really tastes bad and has a salty/soapy flavour. We were heading west and stopped in at Vegreville to see the pisanka only to find an amazing campground there, off the highway, with awesome bathrooms, etc. for the same $30 price. We will not stay at Hidden Valley again knowing that. This is a $20/night place, not $30.

Cute spot. Owned by a lovely couple. Lots of birds and trees. Nice group site and covered cook house. Some highway noise since its so close but that also means only 15 minutes from town for gas and goodies.

Great place to stay! Owner of the place was very nice! It is a small campground, about 10-12 camp sites. The lake has been man made by her grand father. I thought this was interesting. It is quiet, except for the highway beside the campground! But lots of birds and they keep singing! I really enjoyed my stay here! *Shower isn’t available because of Covid!

The cutest little camping area. Beautiful sites, many that back right onto the lake. Wonderful hosts. Wood for purchase. Washroom, laundry and trash facilities ( just not open during COVID ). Would 100% stay again. $20 for non hookup site. CASH ONLY.
