Room is great because it is my RV. Close to central Florida, the Spacecoast, and good jump off point for the rest of the state. The RV park is not real kid friendly as it used to be 55 and over, nothing for them to do in the park as the pool gets regularly closed for maintenance issues. Safe place to stay and good for year round.
We booked Space Coast RV Resort for a few days mainly to visit Cocoa Beach, but it wasn’t as close as we expected. The park itself is very narrow, and the spacing between RV sites is extremely tight, making maneuvering and setup uncomfortable, especially for larger rigs. The facilities also appear to need maintenance, as several areas feel worn and neglected. Another downside was the lack of free Wi-Fi, which is pretty standard at most RV resorts. On top of that, our water hookup was leaking and didn’t have a proper shutoff valve, which was frustrating and inconvenient during our stay. Overall, between the tight spaces, maintenance issues, limited amenities, and the fact that it’s not very close to Cocoa Beach, it’s hard to recommend this resort. With proper upkeep and some improvements, it could be a much better place to stay.
My husband asked me where I wanted to go, and I said Space Coast to see the Rocket launches. The view did not disappoint! We had the best view and it was absolutely incredible! Being from Cape Coral and watching from a distance made this experience so much more special for me. The staff was also friendly. I would hope to come back for the summer to see the launches up close again. It was a very positive experience.
Fantastic staff clean bathrooms and showers ! Wonderful pool . Close to everything. Can see rocket launch close by !!
Stayed here for a weekend to spend time with family in the area for a soccer tournament. The area was perfect for us although there isn’t much within close walking distance if that’s a concern (restaurants, bars, etc). It’s a clean campground and there was plenty of space for our walk to our large pup. The spaces are fairly close together and the roads aren’t laid out the best for larger setups. Our biggest complaint is the lack of WiFi - if it’s not provided as an included amenity it should at least be available for an additional cost.
