I did the half-day ice climbing session. We had a great experience learning about the equipment and had plently of time to do multiple runs. There were different routes available that had varying difficulties as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the tour. Would definitely reccomend to anyone that wants to start climbing or to try something new during winter.

Really fun outing if your in the area good taxidermy displays. Viewing the wolfs is a bonus when we were there it was super cold and the were curled up sleeping. There were approx 20 -30 people there. There are hiking trails on site

Amazing day learning about wolves and seeing them. They look happy and healthy and as close to being in their natural habitat as possible. Very knowledgeable and helpfulstaff Fun time snow shoeing on the packed trail but also out in the waist deep snow. Great day. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time as a group in late September, the best time of the year. We booked a canopy tour that lasted about four hours, and it was a truly great experience.

Our recent family trip to Haliburton Forest and Reserve Area was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed, including a kitchen with all the essentials. My two 8-year-old daughters and I especially loved hiking the trails – the forest trails were tranquil. We swam in the lake and even met Galen, who takes such great care of the trails. He was incredibly helpful in showing us the trails. A big shoutout to Bella, the Wolf Centre guide, too. She was so knowledgeable and made learning about the wolves a fantastic experience for us. We also had an unforgettable time with the astronomy program. Our astronomer was incredibly patient and taught us how to spot different constellations, including the "teapot" and the Polaris star. We were amazed to see the Milky Way, a dying star, and other heavenly objects through the telescope. I also want to mention that the reservation responses from Melissa and Megan were prompt and helpful. I highly recommend Haliburton Forest to families with young kids – it's a perfect blend of nature and adventure!
