With all sites at Narawantapu National Park occupied over the long weekend, our last minute camping destination was Kelso caravan park. On the grass (unpowered site) nestled up near the trees, we had a lovely time. The manager was a really decent guy, worked really hard to ensure everyone was happy. Clean, tidy, quiet and relaxing. Will definitely return.

We stayed 5 nights across two powered camping sites which were very roomy. The grandkids had a fantastic time. Lots to keep them occupied - the pool, pedal bikes, playground and room for playing cricket. Amenities were spotless and well maintained. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

We are here for 8 nights on a powered site. Very peaceful location, lots of wildlife. Amenities are spotless, huge grassed and concrete sites. Lovely pool area. Very friendly and helpful manager as he is new but doing a fantastic job. Highly recommend this park

We had a 3 bedroom cabin which was perfect for our needs. It was a good size and had all the amenities we needled. The cabin was clean and well presented and the main bedroom had an en suite. The park is on bore water but they supplied fresh drinking water for us. The managers were very friendly and were extremely helpful. The park is right on the river with lots of wildlife and it has great facilities if you have kids. We will certainly stay there again next time we are in Tasmania!

We recently had a fantastic stay at Kelso Sands Holiday and Native Wildlife Park! The young family that has just taken over the business is incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The park is teeming with wildlife, and we were thrilled to see wallabies, bush hens, wombats, and even a Tassie devil that came to visit! There’s plenty of space to explore, and the kids will love the great playground on site. The showers are just $1, and I was pleasantly surprised by how hot and clean they were. The enclosed camp kitchen was a wonderful addition, making meal prep easy and enjoyable. The permanent residents were also very friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the park. It’s a great spot to base yourself while exploring the beautiful Tamar Valley area. Overall, we highly recommend Kelso Sands for a family getaway!
