Great park, in my opinion the best around the Lower Eyre. Great access to the beach, clean toilets, must be self sufficient. Ranger came and said hi each day. Great spot and big sites.
Nice spot. The beach is quiet and mostly empty. The sand is firm and clean, with small waves rolling in and out at a steady pace. At one end, the beach turns into a rocky point. The rocks are worn smooth and drop into the water in uneven steps. Small rock pools sit between them, clear and still when the tide is low. It feels calm and uncomplicated. No crowds, no noise, just the sea doing what it always does.
Such a nice place to stay. The toilets are clean and well maintained. The views from most camp sites are excellent with good views of the Bay Area. So many nice walks start from this point. Make sure you are fully well stocked as there is no water supply here or no rubbish bins.
Pleasantly surprised by this gem of a campsite. Photo is from site 14. Great views across the bay. Clean drop toilets.
Easily accessed via Port Lincoln National Park in a 2WD Hiace ($22.30 night). We stayed on Site 16—our favourite—offering stunning views and easy beach access. The bay is beautiful, and the spacious sites are well spread out. Super clean long drop toilets with toilet paper. No showers or water, so come prepared. Please leave it cleaner than you found it and take all rubbish to help preserve these amazing Eyre Peninsula campsites.
