Kind of run down and NO RESTROOMS! Someone at the local Phillips 66 recommended the place. At 2pm on a Tuesday there was nobody at the office and no signage besides the box with self pay envelope's for use. I stayed in a tent and that's $25 so I put the cash in the envelope and dropped it in the slot before confirming/finding no restrooms. I did not stay in a tent site because there were two very loud neighbors in RV's having a music contest. so I stayed in the back field behind the tree line. I guess I kind of Lucked Out on nobody being around on a Tuesday afternoon or night.
Looks like this use to be a nice RV park. It is paved to the sites (but be careful, there are some huge potholes). The sites have concrete pads. But be very care of sites with trees. Some should be trimmed so they don’t attack your rig. It is full hook-up large RV park that was mostly empty the night we stayed. There is a Truck Stop within walking distance. Some picnic tables broken. Strong WIFI, Verizon, US Cellular. There was no one in office when we arrived. We used drop box to pay. People with dogs – beware – the grass is weeds and COVERED with sticky burrs. If you need a full hook-up one night pit stop then this would do. $40 a night for 30 amp. Too bad, I would have liked to see it when it was smart looking.
This is a good place to pull off the freeway and stay for a restful evening or more. The park is full hookup and reasonable for the traveler who does not want to pay for the pool or other amenities that you aren't going to use anyway. The lady who runs the place is supper nice and helpful. They accommodated our truck with camper pulling a cargo trailer plus a car pulling a cargo trailer no problem.
Great for an overnight break from fighting the I-70 winds all day. This place isn’t pretty, but remember if our camper has all the necessities like water/power/sewer, no real need for any other amenities. Older RV business, but in that the elderly owner was very kind and thankfully she had a place for us to regroup and head west! Take note-if you are coming in at night, the potholes are significant, so take it slow. Stay humble, stay kind, and carry on. 😉It’s a good place to rest, not reside. Safe travels everyone!
Glad we gave it a chance. Lady at the office is very nice. It a very dated park but clean. It has a lot of potential if someone could invest the time and money. Worked great for our one night stay. Close to the hwy but didn’t notice any noise. Shaded, grassy area with full hook-ups.For what it is, it works. Would stay again if passing through the area. Gave it a 4 just because the lady was so nice, the potential it has, and to show that some reviews were wanting a resort for the overnight convenience.
