Convenient. Paved road into Campgrounds. Dump station free for park campers that paid for their site. ($10 dollars for dump station only) Fee still 25$ Right next to orv park. Sites were level, with electric and working water at sites. Also had concrete picnic tables.

Stayed at the hunting cabin. It had electricity, lots of wall plugs, sufficient heating, and window AC. It needs some repairs, but was def way better than a tent in the middle of winter.

Cute park with potential but sadly under neglect by City of Beaver and visitors alike. Streetlights shot out, broken windows at the shower house, trash in the bush with trash cans full with sun faded garbage. Highway noise is noticeable and way too much traffic for what should be a simple dead end campground loop. Not sure if it’s used as a drug drop or if everyone in town with a Mustang has an obligation to do a drive through but it was excessive. Being fall, there’s absolutely no reason to do the park loop so I have no idea why the frequent traffic that didn’t stop, just drove through the loop. Pros - Has stable 20/30/50 amp electric service with snug connectors. Sites are level concrete pads with picnic tables and fire rings. Potable water spigots with decent pressure at each site. Most sites are pull-through for rigs up to 50 feet. The showers are hot with nice water flow. The shower house is dated but functional. Grass is mowed, paths are paved and has an RV dump. Cons - Traffic and trash. The two trash cans at the tent sites were both full. Judging by the fading of ink, the trash isn’t new. There’s burned trash in a couple of fire rings. Burned cans and plastic, sad. Both mirrors in the shower house, broken. A toilet loose on the floor, one shower stall missing the handle, a window broken with loose glass. There’s 3 streetlights, none worked as the bulbs were shot out. Lastly, the traffic. We were the only ones camping at either campground but there were dozens of cars that seemingly use the loop as a turnaround. It didn’t feel unsafe but something seemed “off” with the traffic. Worse, no drive through by city, state or law enforcement. At $25 a night, the price is affordable but I really wasn’t expecting such apathy from the City of Beaver in its condition. Hope someone with authority and pride reads this and pays the campgrounds a visit and not a drive through. Off season, the trash and trash cans should be easy to maintain. Pics don’t lie…

Hackberry Campground: Nice big campsites for both RVs and tents (in 2 separate places) and a cabin right next to the lake! Pretty lake with wildlife. Dunes here for fun! Bathrooms and showers are “ok” but useable.

It’s a nice Free park to do a trail or have a picnic. It has a self pay station for people that have ORV to drive on the dunes. Has a playground, basketball 🏀, restrooms, and covered picnic tables.
