Great spot for a stopover Got hot showers dunny very clean but old Tap water at sites Plenty of shade
Travelling in a Motorhome, here is my honest review. The rest area used to be a caravan park as there are concrete slabs to park up on and drinking water taps at each slab. Positives: free hot showers, clean bathrooms, dump point on site. Lots of trees for shade. Quiet at night. Playground for the kids. Walking distance to the grocery and bakery. The Optus signal and internet speed was amazing on my mob. Negatives: Being a 48hrs rest area and as per council website, 50% is occupied by homeless people who looks like they have been there for quite a while. Council rangers came around at 10.30am and no action. Being parked under the tree, lots of birds and poop. Not much sun sites for solar. The site kitchen occupied by the homeless.
Great stopover spot to shop and see what's in this town. Also museum in Cherburg is wonderful, as the town - well done.
Great overnight stop. Easy walk to town ammenities pubs and cafes. IGA right across the road. Plenty of potable water taps. Shaded and unshaded sites available.
Great position in CBD. Large area with water, shade, grassy areas, kids playground, bbq, toilets and showers. Quick walk to shops
