Veryyyy good, the owner is a good very person
They did not honor my reservation. Coming from out of state for a wedding and I made a 4-day reservation nearly a year in advance. 1 week prior to arrival, my sister let me know that a wind farm crew had taken all the spots for an extended period & we could no longer stay there. I called the park, but they would not return my call. I would not plan to stay here unless you are prepared to hustle around last minute for another place to stay! Now we are at the Ness City fairgrounds without full hookup, made to disassemble our rig during the stay and go dump. Very inconvenient and an extremely unethical way to run a business. Everyone beware!
Very Lucky to have been directed to here,Thank You Matt,Sheriff, and C.A.
Well, the good side is that it’s priced right, got water, sewer and 50 amp, it’s sheltered by south and west trees, it’s next to the city park, 150’ from the city swimming pool and a block or three from anything downtown. Admittedly, you’re on the foundation of a torn down motel looking at another motel headed in the same direction. There are five slots, all back-in. One old stump for a community picnic table. Management is flexible, though - my guy redid the sewer connection on the spot. So it works, it’s convenient and it’s the only thing available. Oh, there’s always space. We’ll be back.
No pull throughs. All back-ins. Sewers way in the back of sites. Best have a 20 foot hose at least. Sites are where an old motel used to be.(3 rooms remain for your viewing pleasure). $25.00 per night in 2017 You park on the level foundations. You can see the spots where the toilets used to sit. Lots of noise from highway 96. The shade from the trees on the west is nice in the afternoon. Electricity is good. 50 amp. Right next to a city park. Our 34 foot travel trailer scraped the rear bumper as we pulled in the entrance. It is what it is. A place to spend the night.
