We stayed here over Christmas for three days. Quiet, peaceful and laid back. Lacey was very friendly, helpful and kind. Showers were clean. Thanks for a great stay
A group of 7 of my RV buddies traveled from Texas to see the Light Show, (first time) and we camped out at this RV Park for 4 days. The owner was kind and friendly and he checked on us regularly to see how our stay was going. The location is minutes from the light show and other downtown attractions, which was a plus❤️ , in my books. We had a blast and we will return again next year for the 100 year anniversary celebration of the Light Show. The owner even bought me a few meat pies because it was also my birthday. This spot was a 10 outta 10 in my book‼️ Thanks again Mr. James you rock, see ya next year my friend. Sincerely, The Black Princess 😆
Overall a fairly nice park. Quiet. Mostly looks like seasonal or work campers there. Short walking trail around the pond. New pool, but leaves in it and needed cleaned. “Bathhouse” had one restroom (not one M and one F—-just one M/F) and 2 washers/dryers. Didn’t use them so no further info. Putt-Putt course was covered in leaves and branches. No way to clean them off even if you wanted to. Too bad because it looked like it would have been fun to waste an hour playing. My biggest complaint is the sewer hookup. It was about 10” above ground level and toward the rear of the 5th wheel. With my steps just barely reaching the concrete pad, I had to use 30’ of sewer hose to reach and then it was way to low so I ended up walking the hose to get it to empty. NOT A GOOD SITUATION. All I could picture was Robin Williams in RV! What normally takes me about 20-30 min to dump and flush several times took well over an hour and a half. Needless to say I was not in the best of moods closing out a good holiday weekend. Even if I had closed up the 5ver and backed up, I still would have had to deal with the elevation issue and we all know how amiable sewer slinky’s are. Probably won’t go back just because of that. Biggest plus: Quiet and dark! Biggest minus: sewer dump location and construction.
RV park. Just added a pond and walking trail. They have a swimming pool. Looks like a few long-term campers here. Small outdoor put put golf course. Nothing fancy. Nice cement patio area with a picnic table at each site. A bunch of Pecan trees in the campground. There are no leaves on the trees at this time, but I'm sure there is a lot of shade in the summer months.
Great RV park. Spacious shaded spots. Close to the interstate, but far enough away so you don’t hear the noise. Pool, laundry, restrooms, small mini golf course, and a meeting room with kitchen and shower. Surrounded by a farm with cows and Shetland ponies. I’d definitely stay here again. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it is hard to book a site months in advance due to no one answering the phone, returning calls, or replying to emails during the off season.
