The people here are super nice and the food is really good. They do charge extra for the wifi. We did enjoy our stay here, enough that we came back a couple weeks later when we were in the area again, however, the second time around it had snowed and that's where the access issues come into play. The driveway up is pretty steep, and when things are normal it's not much of an issue but once it snowed, I couldn't make it back up the hill, and got stuck, and slid back down the hill in my truck and trailer. It was scary. But one of the guys came out and helped me out thankfully!!

Callie’s is our favorite place to camp in Red River Gorge, and we've been coming back for years. There are tons of tent camping spots, so it rarely feels overcrowded and it’s easy to find a peaceful spot with plenty of room to spread out. The entire campground is extremely clean, from the bathrooms to the grounds, and it's completely safe walking around at all hours. The staff is genuinely friendly, the kind of people who go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable.

We loved it here! Clean, and friendly service. Great food, and snacks. Bathroom and showers were roomy and clean. My kids loved fishing in the beautiful pond, and playing on the playground! Great place for anyone to stay. Beautiful and close to all the trails! We will be back!

Been going to Callie's for a few years now. It's honestly one the best campgrounds I've been to. Conveniently located down the street from Nada tunnel and close to most back country by way trails. Facilitates are great. Every weekend there's something getting BBQ'd and the rest of their food is awesome as well. I'll always find some reason to make it out there!

We were highly recommended this place to stay, while checking out the trail system, in the area. Our group was not disappointed!! The store has all kinds of products, in case you forgot something. They also offer amazing food, such as breakfast sandwiches, lunch specials and pulled BBQ. The shower houses were very clean and well kept, with enough hot water for everyone. The campground was roomy, not on top of each site and the primitive camping was very clean. Each site also had a fire pit and a picnic table. If you're in the area and need a good night's rest, stop in and enjoy the quiet comforts of the mountains sounds.
