Nice campground. It’s got a great view and good phone/tv reception. Don’t miss the trails or the ride across the dam. Beautiful area and well taken care of.
Amazing campground. Clean and organized. Bathrooms are the best I have seen. Friendly staff as well.
Juniper loop is mostly unsuitable for tent camping (there were only a handful of sites that you could pitch a tent). If like us you are a tent camper choose a different loop closer to the lake, there were some better spots down there. Unfortunately we were unable to set up, and we ended up leaving. Still gave it 4 stars, because it is clean, friendly staff, and a beautiful area. Just not suited to our camping needs.
Great view...for sun rises and sunsets. some covered picnic tables, some not. Some really small sites. Need long hose for water hook up. Juniper campground sites look like the older part of the camping area. Older bathhouse.
Careful following your GPS here, some of the Reservation lands are closed to the public! We try to avoid interstates to help support local businesses and see things missed driving the highway, we were forced to turn around because a sign was knocked over probably from the wind, they will NOT! let you through to turn around even if you are towing a camper, we almost got stuck trying to turn a 40' camper around in the sand. The maps getting to the lake can be confusing. Some sites have shared water, some have only electricity, some are completely dry with no water or power. Junipers sites on the outer edge have no water, some have covered tables. I would suggest having enough water for your stay. There are 2 dump stations I have found maybe more? There are several campgrounds here we only stayed at Juniper, there is a small town nearby with fuel (expensive) a Laundrymat (Very Affordable) and a small convenience store.
