This is a town owned and operated Park which is very well developed and which has on-site managers. There is a lot of grass and many trees. The sites are gravel and most are very level. The electrical seems to be good in most sites, however the 50 Amp sites suffer from excessive voltage. We measured as high as 137 volts and the EMS in our rig would not allow connection so we relocated to a 30 amp site.
We called to pre-book a campsite due to my mother in law having doctors appointments on Stampede weekend and no hotels available. Upon arrival, the set amount was changed and we were put at the "communal campground" where even if you pay for a site, you'll be setting up your space with other familys/ parties that are tenting in a field. By the end, our trip had to be cut short due to other reasons and nothing was done to attempt to reimburse us for the remaining days that we paid for. In my opinion this campground cares about making a buck and not keeping their customers in their best priority. I will not go back not will I recommend this place
great place. have power and a place to fill water tanks late in season. open until Oct 15
We attended an rv rally (Southern Alberta Drifters) with several other couples last weekend and had a wonderful time. Sid and Louise, who run the campground are very accommodating and the price is very reasonable. The views and the walking paths are fantastic and the area for groups allowed us to have a campfire each night. We would highly recommend the park .
Just stopped in to fill fresh water tank so I can't really rate the park.Friendly staff.
