Great park in summer and winter, this year a local made a snowman shaped skating rink out on the lake. In the summer there’s a great dog friendly trail around the lakes entirety, it’s there in the winter too, it’s just not ploughed.

No one mentions that there is a free RV dump station. Glad that we stopped by information center for this.

It is a nice trail in the summer but no one grooms it in winter so you can either break your own trail or walk the lake when it's frozen enough once the snowmobiles have packed it down with their tracks. It's pretty and a decent length loop.

This location is nestled near the center of the town of Watson Lake. Wye Lake is a beautiful lake surrounded with beautiful scenery! It has a well kept walking trail and board walk. There is a wide variety of vegitation to view such as cranberry bushes, fireweed, Labrador tea plants, etc ) It's pet friendly, but you will want to keep your dog on a leash. This location has a nice parking lot, lots of grass space and even a gazeebo. This location is used to host various events such as the farmers market during the summer, fireworks and bondfire during Halloween. Then during the winter months it is home to the Open Air Curling Bonspiel during and fireqorks. It also has a community garden. It's not recommended that you swim in this lake, but you can do canooing.

Watson lake is pretty but not nearly as scenic as other parks along the Alaskan highway. It is a very clean and well-maintained park that has a boardwalk circling the entire lake.
