I give this a very low rating due to 1 very unprofessional FEMALE state park officer N. defrancisco Badge #1974 1st encounter she accused me of not paying the daily camp fees which I think is very rude and very unprofessional to accuse someone of something with 0 proof to back the claim. Then she tells me I have to many cars at my camp site and need to park in overflow parking. Which I had 2 cars at the site just like everyone else Then the day I check out I have work get back to the site and hour late to parking ticket for too many vehicles at the site and camping in reserved spot There were 0 vehicles at the time the ticket was written and to top it off steal my license plate off my trailer Glad to know this is how veterans of United States military are treated SO I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS IF I COULD.
Rolling M Ranch Campground is exactly what a campground should be—peaceful, well-maintained, and run by people who clearly care about the land and their guests. From the moment you arrive, you can tell this place is managed with pride and attention to detail. The grounds are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to find these days. It’s an ideal spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. The natural setting is beautiful, and the campground strikes the right balance between comfort and a true camping experience. What really sets Rolling M Ranch Campground apart is the hospitality. The owners and staff are welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful—no shortcuts, no nonsense, just good old-fashioned service. If you’re looking for a dependable, clean, and relaxing campground where things are done right, Rolling M Ranch Campground deserves your business. We’ll absolutely be back.
start off because of the lack of monitoring by rangers. There was a family of five using several sites in turn over the days ( without booking them) and not only were they very loud and left trash inside and outside the bathrooms and showers, bit one morning the man left drug paraphernalia in the sink and then walked around screaming. Otherwise, a very nice campground with hiking trails right from there. You didn't need to drive to other trailhead, there is plenty to walk around. Some sites are not flat but if you tent camp this is not an issue.
Campsite wasn’t too busy, was very quiet at night. Restroom building was stocked with toilet paper and soap with free shower. There was also surprisingly free WiFi. Parking spots were paved and sites came with a table overall really nice campground with great trails.
Just got back from a short overnight stay here and we couldn’t have loved it more. Can’t say what this looks like in other seasons but It is absolutely gorgeous during spring time. $30 a night with $7.99 registration fee Includes one car with registration $5 per night for additional vehicles Clean flush restrooms with soap dispenser Showers with warm water Each site includes: lantern/lamp post, grill, and picnic table. There are fire pits but they’re lock and not to be used. You do get hikers walking by and driving by occasionally but it didn’t bother us one bit. They kept to themselves. Sites are on a hill so you have gorgeous views all around. Trails are a short walk in every direction. No cellular service so download what you need prior to entering the site. Print a copy of your confirmation and place on the dashboard of your car. We forgot ours at home and when we parked our car at a trailhead for a hike we got a $71 ticket. Our fault so can’t complain. Had to dispute online. Lastly, the park check park hours because once the park closes you can’t get in. Depending on the day that may be 7pm or 5pm. All in all we really enjoyed our little quick escape from the city. Only a short drive and you’re surrounded by nature.
