Very nice! Very clean! We were able ro wash our truck and camper for $30. Free pancakes this morning! Not jammed in either with capers on each side of us. Plenty of washers and dryer’s too.
It’s a decent campground and friendly staff. We had some issues with our electrical which they helped resolve and we greatly appreciate the help on the downside, we paid for a month and we’re making the reservation. They made it sound like they were full based on the size of the unit spaces, they gave us and the cost of each. When we showed up, they weren’t even at a quarter capacity, but yet still charged me for an overpriced slot that they said was premium just to get more money from us. We ended up leaving just short of two weeks and asked if they could do anything on what we paid since we only occupied 2 of the three slots. We were told they would see what they can do but yet nothing was refunded or credited just a survey in my email. Please be aware that they are having Internet issues and only half the sites have Internet due to a shyster that came in and scammed him out of a bunch of money and provided lack of service. I did send them someone to help resolve their issues. We’re not even a thank you.
We had a wonderful experience at this campground, and a big part of that was thanks to the incredible managers. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. You can tell they truly care about the campground and the guests—they were always available to answer questions, give directions, or just share a friendly smile. The facilities well-maintained, and everything ran smoothly, which is a testament to their hard work behind the scenes. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed for a great stay. Whether you’re a first-time camper or a seasoned RVer, you’re in great hands with these managers. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail make this campground stand out. Highly recommend!
Owner don't allow dog fences, no screened tents. Have a couple of small dogs that help protect them if they sneak out when entering or leaving the motorhome. We like sitting outside with our dogs without out being bite by mosquitoes. There are too many rules for a KOA CG... Dollar General only stores with in 30-minute drive. The camp store only has a couple cans of pop or ice cream bars.
This campground was converted to a KOA in April of 2020. Although few upgrades have been made so far, many improvements are planned including upgrades to existing sites, Frisbee golf, etc. We were surprised how much vacancy there was during our Spring break stay. This modest campground has fantastic potential. The staff have been nothing but friendly and kind. If you want Wi-Fi at your campsite, there is a hefty charge per connected device and the speed is unimpressive. Fire ants were a recurring issue during our 4 night stay. The campground shares a fence with a cow pasture, but as there is a constant breeze from the East, we never noticed any unpleasant smells. We enjoyed watching the cows and visiting with the friendly donkeys. With a few upgrades, thus will be a fantastic family getaway.
