Moultrie RV Park Office

Lovely lady campground host, pull thru site with full hookups at a reasonable discount price. Park is behind older mobile home park and next to detention prison center. We felt save, but only for one night. Older campers, some very shabby.

The sites were close together. No fire pit. No picnic table. No wifi. (All are listed on the website) Roaming stray dogs. The detention center keeps the place lit up. Do not be fooled as we were by what is listed on the website as an amenity. They are non-existent. Even at $45, I expect at least a table and fire pit. There wasn’t even a bathhouse or laundry facility. (Again, listed on the website). The concrete pad isn’t even level. Find a different place to stay.

I went looking for a good area to put my fifth wheel for an extended stay. Since it's my wife that would be staying in it I'm particular about the area. I want a safe area, and I didn't get that at this location. It's mainly a mobile home park with a few rv hookups. It may be great for some folks just not for us.

We stopped at this campground on our way heading north. It’s located not far from all types of shopping, Publix, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, etc. At first glance the brick columns at the entranceway to the park seemed a little narrow and we thought the slight incline from the street may cause us to bottom out, but our low to the ground Airstream handled it well. It had rained heavily before our arrival so the dirt roads were muddy, but we had easy access to our level pull through concrete pad. There seemed to be mostly long term campers with a few open spots for those like us just passing through. Registration was seamless and the wifi worked well. Verizon and T-Mobile service was good. The park is well kept and reasonably priced for a full hookup stopover and we would definitely return if we pass through the area again.

We stayed at Moultrie Rv Park from Oct. 16-Oct 20 for the Sunbelt Expo. The park was located very close to the expo. We had full hookups, the campsite was very clean, affordable and quiet. When you enter in you do pass through a trailer park but it is very clean as well. This property also borders the prison but you would never know it, aside from the lights in the back light up some of the rv park. The park manager communicated well and was very nice. We will definitely be back next year for the sunbelt expo.
