This place has changed so much in the 2 months since I started staying here. It just keeps getting better. You can tell that they care about the people who live here. Can't wait to see the future changes that come to this place.
My wife and I have been a resident for 2 months now and if I am honest, from the past reviews about our "New"neighborhood we believed we wouldn't stay long and this place would just be a transition after our travels across the country. Well, upon meeting the new management (CoCo) I was given assurances that she was doing her best to turn things around and make this place into a full fledged community and I tell you what, She has done just that, and is still working to improve everything in her power along with her staff. When she says that things will get done, they will. It might not be the Most beautiful setting (not yet) but in time we can picture this community coming together and really making something special. The area this place is located is clean, quite, and peaceful. Only 10 to 15 minutes from the Beach in either direction while also having the luxury of two Bigger city Downtown areas, just about 20 minutes in both directions...there are several parks in the area to go boating, canoeing, or fishing as well.. Trust me, this is not a paid for advertisement lol.
This RV park is being completely renovated and you can tell the owners truly care about the property. The prior owners allowed anyone to live there and it was unsafe, and now there are standards for all new residents. Very happy to see the current improvements, and what it will look like in near future!
I am very pleased to say this park has transformed under the new management. They have done a lot of work in such little time. The park is not what it use to be. They have taken out a lot of the old mobile homes and rv. They arr still doing a lot of work around the park. They have all new hook ups that has been installed, more space for bigger rigs. I am please with the new management in how they conduct business. I remember this old lady and her son use to manage the property and it was very disgusting. The new management has put all new security systems for the safety of the residents. They are installing lights throughout the park, cutting back heavy tree brush and they have a brand new laundromat with all new equipment. I have been here for two weeks now and I am happy.
Beware – Lack of Transparency and Last-Minute Financial Changes I want to begin by acknowledging something positive. Kristen, who I spoke with by phone, was kind, approachable, and understanding in our initial conversations. This review is not personal toward her, but rather about management practices and lack of transparency. We are full-time RVers who travel for work and live on a budget. We intentionally avoid large corporate parks with excessive pricing and chose this park because it was advertised as a bare-bones, affordable option. We understood there were no amenities and were completely fine with that. Our conversations about staying here began back in August, specifically discussing short-term and long-term rates. At that time, the park was transitioning from an old mobile home park into a full-time RV park. We were verbally told the monthly rate of $1,100 was acceptable. At no point was a deposit discussed, nor were any additional fees clearly explained. Everything remained verbal, with nothing provided in official writing. There were too many lines of communication going back and forth between email and texting, which was leaving me very confused to track everything. Four days before our scheduled travel, the conversation suddenly changed and a deposit was introduced for the first time. After more than 24 hours of trying to get a clear answer, we were told the deposit would be a full month’s rent ($1,100)—despite the fact that we were only staying two months and had already offered to pay both months up front in full. She had told me she wrote this in an email, and again.Remind you i'm going back. And forth with emails and texting, and I even apologize that there was an email. She had sent just a few weeks ago.Saying that there may be a deposit, but in the email it didn't state. What it was, she said she was still working out those details.I took accountability and apologized that I missed that email from all the different lines of communication as to what we could do to compromise, being a good customer. And hoping that we could come to an agreement. The explanation given was that the deposit was for electricity, yet we were still expected to be billed for electricity during our stay. This made no sense and felt unreasonable. There was no willingness to compromise or offer clarity, and the communication became inconsistent and uncomfortable. As a customer, I felt like the problem rather than a paying guest. Due to the lack of written policies, last-minute financial demands, and unwillingness to work with short-term guests, we ultimately chose to walk away. This experience completely disrupted our travel plans and caused unnecessary stress. If you are desperate for long-term placement and have limited options, this park might work for you. Otherwise, I strongly suggest finding a park with clearer management practices, written policies, and transparent pricing.
