I have been calling this caravan park for the last 4 days, left 2 messages to ring back but still no response. I spoke to a lovely person by the name of Alyssa at the Brunswick Junction RV park who was able to help me out. Big thank Yous to her but upon ringing back the BJ Caravan park again, there was still no pick up. This type of non- response hurts your community. We have chosen to book in at Harvey now. Hope you can attend to business matters more positively in the future or at least leave an answering machine message that lets the consumer know you are unable to respond in a timely matter.
Stayed for 2 weeks in the camping spot while on a filming expedition, the staff were extremely friendly and welcomed us with old school country hospitality. If you're expecting the Ritz go elsewhere If you are camping and love the outdoors in a great environment that doesn't feel manufactured, then I highly recommend this place to anyone. The pricing is spot on, the facilities, cleaner than most, staff willing to assist with any issues. The permanent residents are friendly and made it a most enjoyable stay. I thoroughly recommend this place to any travellers.
Stayed 3 nights Power & Water $45/Night Had the Slab site overlooking the water. Beautiful & private Facilities freshly painted & clean Caretakers Russ & Nat absolutely fantastic 👏 Overall great stay with a short walk to town.. Keep up the good work
Nice place for an overnight stay in Brunswick. Peaceful and family friendly. There is a train line close by that add character to the experience of the stay. Owners were laid back and friendly. Bathrooms were clean, maintained and I felt safe using them due to the locks. I would stay again for an over night stay.
Ensure you query any charges per night for your stay, especially with kids. We were overcharged for having our 7 month old and 2.5 year old with us and not sure what else. Online stated $30 per night, plus $10 extra per child, so we thought the charge would be $60 for a 2 night stay, instead we were charged $150. Majority of caravan parks are free for under 3 so when we saw child, we presumed this was for older children. When the charge was queried and we questioned why it was different to online, we were told it was “$15 per child incase they used the amenities”. Not sure what 7 month old is taking showers or using a toilet on their own. So instead we were charged $30 a night, plus $60 for our two children to stay and an extra $60 for who knows what. The lady at the front was very abrupt and rude and refused any further explanation or refund for the second night. It also wasn’t ideal that the site we were placed on had a drain pipe that pumped water directly at the front step of the caravan. The only positive I can provide is the showers and toilets were clean.
