Wow, I just never thought I would have to write a review on a place just simply for the harassment but I will be detailed. I am not sure why this place has it out for me, but there’s a park that I go to for dog walking that’s pretty much behind where I live, I go through the park sometimes simply for the short distance. However, one day I was rudely approached by the owner or someone I don’t even know the guys name he NEVER ADDRESSED HISSELF as he stepped in front of my car without as much as a hello and told me that I’m trespassing and that I’m a liability. I drive a corvette and had a Chrysler for a year and drove through there just fine without ANYONE ever having an issue. I have no problem staying off someone’s property but there are ways to approach people. And he was unnecessarily abrasive. It felt slightly racist as I’m 5’2 Black female and he’s around 6’0 well over 200lbs. Feeling unsettled with the initial reaction I did call and left a message to Make an initial report of the encounter just to be left with the same man calling me back being just as rude. I simply said thank you and hung up and let it go because again. He was just RUDE i still don’t know the name of this person. Well not too long afterwards riding in auto pilot after getting off of work I went through the park and someone actually FOLLOWED ME TO MY HOUSE FROM THIS PLACE and they are the ones trying to pursue legal action even though I have the truck on camera that followed me all the way to my home. Unacceptable. This individual proceeded to tell my partner “he can do what he wants” then hangs up on him, even after i had already had a conversation with him but he didn’t have the energy to speak to the man I live with. I am going to make a report myself because I’m sure driving through a park doesn’t merit HARASSMENT of the NEIGHBORS. Needless to say I HAVE NOT BEEN BACK SINCE THAT. I’m being harassed now
Basic campground, quiet and conveniently located to Atlanta. We stayed there approximately six weeks while buying a house. Management was very accommodating and helpful.
I tried to get into another campground also had the name Sweetwater, I apologize for my original review. It was ment for the other campground. These people were super nice to take my wife and I in after an 8 hour drive to a campground that apparently closed down but never updated their website. They also took care of us after hours as well. I sincerely apologize for my initial review. It was not ment for this location. Staff was friendly and very accommodating! Highly recommend!
Don’t judge a book by its cover. When I first rolled in it looked a bit sketch and I almost didn’t stay. But I stayed 4 nights. The residents are friendly. The park management is nice. Despite looking a bit rough. It’s a safe and quiet park with nice people.
Easy off the freeway… Make sure you go in the front way and lock the back way lol. Very clean place, no trash. People are great, it’s quiet if you enjoy a train in the background. Definitely will return when I’m in this area.
