Peppermint grove beach is a little hidden gem, this place not so much. The vibe here is just off, the guys walking around with the blowers and management are arrogant and have no idea the meaning of customer service. It’s a shame because the staff in the restaurant and bar are lovely. Go to an Airbnb, you’d be so much better off
Would never give a low star rating as I love the place but last Friday we got 2 pizzas... after a year of living local had been waiting out for so long as always in popular demand and booked out so was very excited. Unfortunately my pizza was inedible and my partners was not great either. The dough was just dough and thick, gluggy and not cooked, mine was covered in just cheese with no rocket. Anyway. I understand the staff were young and rushed. Just a shame after such good reports normally.
Beds rock hard, no entertainment, very queit, only beach up the rd Capel closed shops, has a liquid shop and a licensed bar cafe, bin man wakes u up at 7am clucking loudly around the park, no pool, queens studios rooms small but ok,no soap dish in shower, kitchen amenities clean and tidy but use for queens studios only not caravans nor tenters, 10pm curfew. Would only recommend for if u want to rest somewere quit.
There was no information on their website or in the arrival pamphlet providing information that Thursday morning was a very noisy tidy day with the leaf blower and lawn mower. When I asked the male owner about this and what time it would finish, he was rude and arrogant insisting the information was there. To speak like that to a paying customer, who was at least 30 years his senior was just appalling. That is not ok to speak to a man or woman like that. The other two vaners near us were so cross about the noise and departed. if you are looking for a quiet mid week stay, this is not for you.
What a perfect place to spend a not-nearly-enough 5 wonderful nights!! It was crazy busy when we arrived, with ANZAC weekend & kids not yet at school. When the weekend was over we almost had the park to ourselves & it was magical. The gardens are well looked after as are the sites. Sprinklers running to freshen up the grassed areas. The shower amenities, although very well maintained, were very small, not nearly enough space to dry off & dress. My only hiccup. The shop is well stocked, with everything from a cute little bottle shop, groceries to clothes & a licensed restaurant… Peppermint Grove C/Park is perfectly situated in the middle of Busselton & Bunbury & close to other tourist places. The beach was picturesque & we had it to ourselves on a couple of occasions. I loved this caravan park & highly recommend it.
