Perfect location right off I 35. Park is under new ownership and they've really put their heart & soul into this place. Very friendly staff and propane filling station on site. Trees all wind the park blocking winds too. There's a Walmart within a half mile as well that has room to pull your rig in to get groceries. This is our 2nd time staying here and it will become our layover point during our future travels. I would 100% recommend this campground!
Checked in today 1/29/26. This used to be a KOA and wasn’t sure what to expect. It is above and beyond what I expected. The staff was so friendly and helped with trying to fill our propane tank. It had a leak and he suggested switching the tank out at the Walmart next door. We needed to used the bathrooms because it’s too cold to hook up water to our RV. They are clean, warm and totally updated. We didn’t shower but there were 6 individual shower rooms. All clean and warm. We will definitely stay here anytime we are traveling I-35 again.
Wow! If I could give 10 stars I would! Awesome little cabin! Perfectly clean and nice! The management is sooo kind and accommodating! This place is a thousand times better than any hotel! Quiet and peaceful! Whenever I come see family in Wellington I will always stay there. I highly recommend this hidden gem!
Worst campground ever. I drove for hours today. Rented a tent site at this KOA only to find self-register. No employees shop closed down. Found the self-register said pick a tent site which there are only three with no power, no electric. I paid for power and electric tent site. The tent sites are near the front office where you get beaming headlights on your tent site. Every time somebody checks in after dark some guy was working on his truck parked right in front of the bathrooms which is right in front of the tent sites. After midnight some barking dog at a neighboring house next to the campground barking all night. Worst KOA ever. I will never stay here again and I regret that I reserved. Also, I paid for a tent site that had power and electric so I was overcharged
Stopped here for a night while passing through to Oklahoma. We arrived after hours, so we didn’t get a chance to meet the staff. But check in was still easy. We made reservations ahead of time, so everything was ready for us. They have a nice dinner playground for little ones. The only down, out site wasn’t very leveled, we were on a pretty noticeable incline.
