Beechworth Lake Sambell Caravan Park

I’ve stayed at many caravan parks across Australia, but this one truly stands out as one of the best. Everything is spotless — the park itself, the bathrooms, and the showers are all exceptionally clean. I especially loved the quality of the linens. The cabins are well-maintained, and it’s fantastic that some of them are pet-friendly. The lake views are absolutely breathtaking, and the fresh air is incredible.

What a lovely relaxed park. We stayed on a powered sites with shady trees. Amenities were impeccable. Spotlessly clean. I liked that after your shower you give it a quick mop with bucket provided making it ready for the next person. Staff were so friendly and available. Activities for children- playground, volleyball net, putt putt, canoeing. We didn't use the camp kitchen, but it looked well equipped. Staff more than happy to give recommendations for dining options. Plenty of bins available at sites. Not even 5 minutes out of town, so centrally located. Plenty of walking and bike tracks. Dog friendly.

We stayed on a powered caravan site. The staff were awesome, from check in, where they walk you to your site, to check out, they were busy all day, every day, making the park as pleasant, clean and maintained for their guests as possible. The little things count and are very much appreciated. Spotless amenities block and love the touch of the local radio station playing. Lake has a beautiful walk around it, with plenty of spots to just sit and take it all in. Will be happy to come back.

I've just back from 6 nights at Beechworth Lake Sambell. I had a great stay with the two poodles! All the facilities were spotless clean. Sharon one of the new operators/managers with her hubby are amazing. So incredibly helpful and kind. Sharon placed me and the poodles in an awesome spot over looking the water. My leads and water hose was far too short for the spot and they kindly loaned me a set for my stay. Such a friendly park and super close with a gorgeous walk to the town centre. Make sure you walk down that avenue of trees to the Northern side of the lake. Watch out for dogs off lead around the lake! We will be back and big brownie points for how lovely Sharon the new manager is!

Stayed for 5 nights in a two bedroom cabin with lake view. Check in was friendly and welcoming. Cabin was very clean, cosy and had everything we needed. It was very relaxing sitting on the balcony watching the lake, sunsets and comings and goings of the busy park. Walked everyday around the lake, takes a good half an hour and just beautiful. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend 😁
