A beautiful park. The birds sound like a chorus to wake you each morning. If you are lucky, road runners and javelinas will make an appearance in the campground and along the walking trails.
A short drive from Salineño Wildlife Preserve, this park offers another fantastic opportunity to capture stunning photographs of various bird species. The bird blinds and feeders provide excellent vantage points for observing these beautiful birds. I was fortunate enough to photograph several species, including the Scaled Quail, Bewick’s Wren, Green Jay, Long-Billed Thrasher, Orange-Crowned Warbler, and Olive Sparrow. I visited here during Laredo bird festival 2026 and I had a great experience.
Falcon SP mayor be the biggest but certainly has not been a disappointment. We spent Christmas here and the weather was lovely, the birds are out in abundance and even the occasional javelina walked through camp just a strolling along. The trails are clean and well marked. During the tight season they have a wonderful butterfly garden. If your a birder this will be your paradise in the winter. Check out nearby Roma right on the border groceries snacks and great good are there.
Wow! Full hookup for 18 dollars a night! Can't beat it. Only downside was they advertise wifi but don't count on it! The place is beautiful. All the rv spaces are drive thru so easy in and out. People are very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful park. Great for camping away from everything. Stay under the speed limits. Alot of hills out there and they'll get you 🤣 trooper was nice and gave me a warning tho👍
