Very beautiful, 9 site camp ground. No generators, very peaceful day and night. Half the sites have some tree cover which provide some shade at different times of the day. Short walk over the sand dunes to a very private swimming beach. Toilets are clean. Loads of mozzies all day long, but worth during dusk and dawn. Best sites in terms of shade are 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9. Epic sun sets. Hope to return one day.
Great spot to unwind and explore the Cape Range from. Only 8 campsites the majority are very spacious and separate, multiple clean bush toilets, great tree cover and protected by the sand dunes, short walk over the dune and onto a massive stretch of beach. The bugs were pretty bad in the evening though. Highly recommend
Fantastic base for exploring Cape Range National Park. We loved it here. The beach at Neds is great for a swim and watching the sunset, though not the best for snorkelling, but that's okay because Osprey and Oyster Stacks are just a short drive away. We booked Ned's because we couldn't get into Osprey, but honestly I'm glad it worked out that way. Neds has lots of protection and privacy due to the sand dunes, and it felt very secluded as there's only 9 sites here. At Osprey it's very exposed and busy. If you want the site with the most amount of natural shade, book site 8, though this is right next to the toilet. All other sites are great for getting the solar panels out! Would highly recommend a stay at Ned's. Keep in mind you'll need to book in super early for peak season. We booked 4 months in advance and got the last spot for our dates.
It’s good to stay, beautiful beach nearby and the toilet is clean. Just in day time is quite windy and many flies.
Super clean, lovely hosts, rather quiet. Not too far from the park entrance and about 20km to the best snorkelling spots. You can watch the sunrise and sunset here. Beach access but not the best beach in the park.
