Old Macs Caravan And Motorhome Farm Stay

Stayed 1 night in our camper, loved it, beautiful spot just on the edge of Launceston. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very happy and gentle donkeys too!

Great park very close to Launceston. Heaps of room with sites positioned around the lake with nice walking tracks and farm animals. $20 per night for unpowered with very clean toilets, $2 water fill and firewood available for purchase. Highly recommend.

A gem of a place to stay - Old Mac’s Caravan and Motorhome Farm Located in Norwood, a suburb of Launceston, Old Mac’s is a great place to stay. Ideally located to all attractions. The farm offers several powered and unpowered sites set on a lake and river -each site is spacious and grassy. There is also a restaurant which provides lovely meals - open until 4pm. Vans need to be self contained, however there is a very clean toilet block not far from the entrance. Old Mac’s also provides a dump point and there is fire wood and fire pits available for a minimal price. As the park is set on a farm, there are penned animals, including donkeys. Old Mac’s is a unique place to stay - ideally situated, clean and interesting.

The farm stay was wonderful. My 2-year-olds absolutely loved the donkeys and rabbits—they were gentle, friendly, and clearly used to visitors. The any-size campsite was spacious and well covered with grass, which made a big difference for little kids. It was much nicer than the gravel sites at Big4, and at around one-third of the price, it was excellent value for money.

We had the most wonderful time here! Large powered site, close to the river and toilets. Easy check-in/out process; the owners even let you arrive early and depart later if you are willing to move to an unpowered site. Well maintained grounds, beautiful farm animals and great walking tracks. Even got to enjoy some fishing! Highly recommend this place.
