Great place for events and seasonal events put on by the city. Most of the facility is not air conditioned, which makes sense as the main open area is dirt and expecting horses. The smaller side rooms are mostly air conditioned
January 2025 We went to checkout the Western Wonderland and found a large ice skating rink. It was the last day and even though did not skate it was something to see. The rink was indoors so the looked good with only a small layer of water however you could feel the chill off the ice. Mostly kids on the ice and ice skating walkers were available. Can’t wait until next year to get on the ice.
Went to visit the winter wonderland happening here. Its an ice skating rink happening indoor. The shoes are provided here for rent. Currently priced around $35 per person. There's also a frozen experience event happening. (Attached pic). Takes around 1hr for the skating event. Have a good visit.
I visited here randomly with my international student friend at about 7PM. Watching the horses practice was awesome, and I loved the live music by the skating rink. The trail of lights (Western Wonderland) was super cute, and it was clear everything was pretty well made. Great example of Texan culture, lol. My favorite part was the hay snowman which inspired a lot of hysterical laughter. What a nice impulse visit.
Very nice people here. Johnna and Emily are the best. They let me pick a spot near the Bike Trails to pop my tent. With ez access to the HOT showers!
