Purely MAGICAL and a must see! This was on my bucket list to see the view of the bridge and that was breathtaking, however, everywhere around there is simply gorgeous. The campground along the beach is amazing and I would stay there for weeks and weeks!

Underrated park, it’s worth the stop! Awesome views of the bridge from the beach and also from atop a hill, they have a wooden staircase leading up to the viewing platform (bring a quarter if you want to use it) and some plaques describing the bridge’s history. There’s a sizable campground, parking for tourists to snap pics, and even some (very) short woodsy hiking trails.

The campsites were nicely sized and clean with large, safe, slightly elevated fire pits. It was nice having electricity, as a tent camper it isn't always an option. The bathhouses were very clean and dry, and I like how there was a large utility sink outside so people could wash dishes or anything else. There were a few different trails to take, which were nice and not muddy or overgrown. The beach is very rocky, but that view that close to the Mackinaw Bridge is unforgettable. I will definitely be returning to this park in the future!

This is a fantastic park, the campground is awesome, I've stayed there with some friends and was great, it has all the services: power outlet, water, restrooms and showers. Our campsite was full shade with fire pit, picnic table. The hiking trail it's fantastic, gives you the opportunity to see Mackinac Bridge through a scenic view. Also if you're planning to visit Mackinac Island it's the perfect spot, since the park it's located in St. Ignace and you can take either Shepler's ferry or Arnold's ferry to the Island, it's only a 10 drive to the departure docks.

I really loved this campground for its proximity to so many beautiful places, overall layout, spacious sites and cleanliness. The only downside is that the beach which is within walking distance isn't great for a "beach day", imo. We were totally okay with that though. There are several beaches within driving distance. Would recommend!
