Traveling across the country with my family and found this just searching for a campground to shut it down for the night. Duke was easy to deal with and super personable. The campground was clean and all the neighbors were quiet and extremely nice. We planned the night out and had a good time. Duke delivered more firewood than I was able to burn, and I kept the fire going until later just sitting near it after my family went to sleep. Though grass isn’t my first choice to setup a camp on it does have the benefit of not having any dust at all. Next time I’m driving through I’ll definitely stop here again.
Nice quiet campground about 30 minutes outside of Champaign. The grounds are well kept and the seasonal campers are quiet and respectful. The star gazing on clear nights is out of this world.
Clean. Quiet. Great owners!! Always our favorite place to go.
We stayed here for four days and four nights, it is very peaceful and quiet. We stayed in a tent that was secluded from everyone else. It was a great little vacation, we will come back. Rolling hills campground has electric hook ups and water hook ups for RV. There are a few people that are here always. Duke is a very nice guy and checked on us regularly to make sure we didn't need anything.
It’s a nice place for a weekend camper get away. No WiFi, no sewage. Neighbors are quiet and polite. Park is maintained well. Not recommended for contractors or someone whom lives to travel. Maintenance person kinda smug and confrontational, but other than that it would be a nice place to pull in for a weekend stay. Bathrooms/showers need renovation...
