Place is great! Perfect if you want to do a quick 18. I can get out of work and usually enjoy a round. Staff seem nice and the course is in good shape especially for the year we’ve had for rain!
Been going for years. Its a well maintained place, good facilities, they must do something about the mosquitos because most years they're not tedious to deal with. My only "issues" are I wish they would build a bathhouse at the other end of the campground and ai wish they still had their pool. Neither are big nor dealbreakers.
Pros: * No tee times needed * Easy to walk * Greens in great shape * Fairways have very few bald/brown spots Cons: * Short, very short. Almost like a long par 3 course for modern drivers * No traps whatsoever, very few hazards * Fairways are more like light rough in length * Price to walk 9 is a bit high for what you get, considering the above As a walker, I was able to complete 9 holes in a little over an hour. I can see from some recent reviews that this place has increased its rates and I understand now why people are kind upset about that. It really would be a fun little practice/casual course but they need to lower the prices a fair bit or add some traps and other things to make the course more interesting for the value to be there.
Went there to play Tuesday may 28th. Last year I could play 9 holes for 30 bucks and that was with my wife riding with me. Tuesday I was charged 20 for golf 24.00 for cart and with tax I came to 45.35 for nine holes, a little steep I would say, when I can play a nice 18 hole course for another 5 to 10 dollars. So I will move on and thanks for the memories
Nice evening for golf. The course was in great condition!
