Rest Area - Dodge City, Northbound

This stop is off the side of the road and over to the otherwise of the highway, but that made it much quieter. No congestion when we were here. Restrooms could be cleaner but got the job done. Good area for a quick stretch, nap, or a quick bite to eat! Bathrooms are fairly decently cleaned.

Im a professional driver and work long hours, but it's by choose and I don't mind doing it. However, there are a few things that make my life extremely difficult. Like when the security guard wakes me up in the middle of the night. Then says,"Sorry my bad!" That is not OK! Thats very rude and disrespectful. But, what Im i supposed to do? Leave and never come back🤷‍♂️

Who reviews rest areas? Not me, until now. So clean. It’s was like using the bathroom at my own house. Tons of parking. It serves north and south traffic. Many picnic tables and lots of them are covered. Great place to stop and stretch. Great truck and trailer parking. Room for Rv and otr trucks. Easy to maneuver with plenty of turning room.

Beautiful rest area!! Super clean, just as 99.9999% of the ones I’ve been in are! I was astonished by the fall leaves and their richness all the way down in Alabama. I slept here for awhile as I was exhausted from driving, and I felt really safe! If you’re looking for a nice, clean place to rest, this is it!
