Cortez RV Resort, LLC

We wound up at Cortez RV because our check engine light came on, and we had to stop to find a mobile tech for our 45-foot Entegra Anthem. The reviews about the friendly service are all correct. We were able to pull in to see if we could find a mechanic before we booked the one-night stay. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the gentleman in the front office is. The park is within walking distance of a great little place to get tamales and a Chinese Restaurant, which we didn't try. There is a pleasant walking trail through the RV park that leads to a local park and then directly into town. We enjoyed our stay and were thrilled to discover this park at a time when we needed it.

The first word that comes to mind is AMAZING!! Kristina, Dalton and thier two daughters two girls are absolutely the best!! This is definitely our home away from home, matter of fact this is our home when we are not working. They make you feel like family and are there for your every need. The pool is really nice cold, crisp, clean water and great area to lounge in. The bathrooms and showers are always clean. There is a laundry room where you could do your laundry, there is a recreational room where you can play pool, play video games, watch TV etc. there is also a little shop where you can buy memorabilia and all of your RV needs. Just all around great people that work around the clock to make sure you are happy no matter what! I would definitely recommend this place without a doubt. It is beautiful, quiet, cozy and just overall amazing 😊 while in the Cortez area we would never stay anywhere else, this is our place ❤️💯 In Addition I must add to my review: we did have some extremely weird neighbors next to us named Dillon and Vivian they were there for about a couple weeks before we left. Honestly it was a couple of weeks too long!! Our first interaction with them was kind of weird, but as the days went on it got even worse. We witnessed him beating his dogs outside of his camper, screaming at his wife and infant. The wife with regularly leave with her sister because she said he would hit her. They always had traffic going in and out of their camper. He would ask for weed and beer. We tried to avoid them at all cost. They honestly made it uncomfortable to walk around or go to the pool because we were scared they were going to be there as we did not want to interact with him. I had to update my post because when I left the review I didn't want to say anything negative because we honestly love this place but unfortunately they made it to where we wish they never would have came there. Christina and Dalton are amazing plus their two daughters!they do whatever they have to do to make sure you are having a good time and that you are comfortable. Unfortunately if the weird guy Dillon is still working there upon our return we will not be back. Like I said I didn't add this to my review earlier because I didn't want to make the place look bad. We have had a few phone calls from friends of ours that were staying there that have had problems with that couple as well so I felt the need to add this to my review! We were honestly hoping those people would be gone before we returned. They were already kicked out of one of the RV parks downtown Cortez because those people didn't want to deal with them neither. It seems everywhere they go they cause a problem.

Stayed here a month in my camper for work. Very friendly people running the park. Pool and play ground was in good shape. Dryers and washers worked well. Camper spot was level. Didn't have any problems. Unfortunately most of the people staying out there leave there animal poo all over the place, to lazy to pick up after their pets. Wish they enforced some kind of rule for that part, have to really watch your step when walking around the property. Other wise a awesome place to stay with great views.

The owners are phenomenal! They are super helpful. The camp ground is wonderful. Some campers don't have the common courtesy of cleaning up after their dogs and give the owners more work. So if your a camper do better! Will definitely stay again if we ever come back to Colorado! The husband and wife duo are phenomenal and gave great food recommendations and we're so sweet with our kids!

Overall the facility was very well taken care of. The bathrooms were VERY clean as well as the rec room and laundromat. And the people running this location are so nice and helpful!! The bathrooms are spacious and have very clean and new showers, every time I went in the bathrooms they were very clean and spotless. We did not use the pool due to weather but it appeared to be very clean. And the recreation room was very fun to hang out in and has lots of amenities. We also took advantage of the on site laundromat which worked as expected. The actual camping sites were quite nice. Fairly level ground and good hookups. Keep note that the power and water hookups are a bit far apart (at least at the buddy sites) but it was not too much to handle. The only gripe about this facility was the office hours. I believe the office is open from 9am-5pm which is a little inconvenient when you are out all day. However, they did make up for it with their awesome service and their kindness.
