Davie / Ft. Lauderdale Koa Holiday

The women at office were very nice and helpful. However, we consider the $150.00 plus per night cost to be grossly excessive. The entire week we were there we had no internet because it had been damaged and they were waiting for repairs. These repairs never occurred. They finally got internet set up in the game room only but this was beyond inconvenient. We were never offered any rate compensation. The entire campground is under improvement construction but this currently created a less than desirable facility. The rate obviously was not adjusted to account for this. We were told that our dogs were not allowed to be secured outside on the patio unless someone was literally physically sitting outside next to them. We were sitting at the table inside our 5th wheel, with the windows and door open, right next to our dogs. Less than 5 feet away and in direct communication with them. A couple of workers began working at our sight and the one next door. The dogs barked and we corrected them. The workers came to our door and one of them literally yelled at my wife saying she needed to be sitting outside. He was beyond mean and rude and actually frightened her. I would never recommend this very greedy campground and certainly would never stay there again under any circumstances.

Stayed at this KOA for a weekend and it was great! Amber and Katie were so patient and professional, they helped me out so much! This KOA is in a great location with a nearby park, highly recommended staying here if you’re in the Miami area. Thank you Amber,Katie and the Ground Crew!

We were heading to Miami for a night to drop off a car. This KOA gave a wonderful tropical feel right away! The roads were easy enough for our 32 foot RV and car trailer. The ease to book on the phone and ensure a great site for our needs was on point. The greeting was kind, warm. You can see they are still under construction, there is dirt and loose rocks, and it will all be so amazing! You can see how gorgeous and lush the spaces will be. Private feel too for how close the spots can seem. Every rv site has its own was paver pad, fire pit, patio furniture. The community areas were pleasant. It was really nice to sit outside or walk the grounds. Coffee and pancakes were served with a smile at the pool “bar”. The pool temp was perfect!! Lovely little spot for an overnight stay. Lots of pups, all sizes. Sweet pet area, just make sure to watch for owners that haven’t picked up after themselves there. Overall, we appreciate the well set up site, the clean bathrooms. The clean showers. Thank you for the kindness and professionalism while keeping it genuine.

I am just about done with KOA's. $140 a Saturday night! Spaces are on top each other. I was afraid if my neighbor cooked on their grill it would damage my rv. My slide was less than 3 ft. It's not a bad park. People are friendly and seems well maintained. I was here for a week. Often heard gun shots and planes flight over. I could understand $80 for location.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very nice side for pur small van with a patio and chairs and lounge. The new bathroom facilities are just awesome and of a very good quality. The Pool is great with new furnitures. We enjoyed staying here. The staff is very friendly. Only the noise from the planes is insane and gave me a hard time to sleep.
