Summer Ridge RV Park

Summer Ridge is a smaller RV Park! That’s part of its charm. I stayed for 6 seasons! The management was always helpful and understanding. I was never charged for using the beautiful Pavillion, or the docks or the paddle boats and canoes! The park is beautiful with a stunning view of the lake and it’s gorgeous sunsets! Highly recommended!

The 1st year we were there we were told bathrooms were like walking into your own home and so nice! I never once was in them in 2 years because they never opened them! They haven’t been open since 2020! Rules change for no reason besides what the owner feels like doing, or if the maintenance man doesn’t like it, you will be texted that it is effective immediately! On July 3rd , the people at the park planned on having guests because of the holiday, we were all texted at 11pm saying the price for visitors is increasing effective immediately! She also raised the price of the seasonal fee without adding anything to the park! There are no amenities provided what so ever! If you are looking for a great experience and a place to relax and get away, DON’T stay at this campground! You will be constantly harassed by the owner and her maintenance guy! Unless you are family, then the rules don’t apply. I have never felt so unwelcome in my life! It should be noted, the other guests were the sweetest people and it was sad to leave them, however the owner and maintenance guy were the reason I had to leave! He screamed at me in front of my children over a gas can and got so escalated my children were scared of him! He never apologized , and the owner just made excuses for him and his actions! There are about 30 sites with 7 sites open due to 5 sites that left at the end of the season this year! Finally, when I moved to a different campground the owner showed up to MY site uninvited, and walked around looking at my stuff! Accusing me of taking things from her campground!! Her and the maintenance guy were there the entire time we broke down the site and loaded up all of our things! She just has nothing better to do!! RED FLAG 🚩

Owner is shady with rules and doesn’t follow the contract that you sign.

My husband and I stopped in to look around (we are looking for land or seasonal site for camper). The owner greeted us and was super friendly. She made us feel welcome and allowed us to look around. I only have a picture of sign on the way out so we had the phone number.
