Hidden Gem approx 3ks of the main road before tocumal. Great set up. Huge caravan park with all the goodies. Huge Sandy beach, swimming pools, activities for the kids. Etc etc.

Really bad road in to the park had to book in at kiosk told we were in cabin 8 the booking sheet showed cabin 10 had been crossed out, our cabin had been given to someone else because no 8 wasn't clean.we asked for a up grade and were told it will cost us another $595. So we stayed in the standard cabin, found pubic hair on vanity and in wash basin, soap dispensers hadn't been refilled bathroom window wouldn't lock. And door was broken, tried to make a cuppa found dry food around tops of cup's. Fridge small and no freezer unit cabin is for 5 people seating for 4 only and couch seating for 3. Windows filthy and mould on outside, a spider came out of cap in roof area inside and went down behind couch moved couch out and found card's bottle tops,dirt and spider webs behind it. It looks like it had been there and for some time, aircon didn't keep unit cool, blinds let the sun in.no lighting around park only at carpark areas as you can't park near your unit. The big trash bins were all overflowing every bin in the park. Electric jug was half full of dirty water and was put in cupboard, the whole park was rundown and dirty what they call lakes are nomore then mozzie breeding pond's. Just small dams with a sprinkler, we had paid for six nights only stayed one, gave key to staff and told him the problems he was going to report it to the managers straight away. Heard nothing further so rang next day, speaking to the manager she said cleaning staff found nothing wrong, we told her we had photos she said we should of waited around she was going to give us a upgrade that was after I'd asked for a refund. She might give one night put into park banking to get it back we would have to stay again, so I ask for the remainder of the five days in upgrade offered and she replied you want to come back, she had no intentions of giving upgrade. Stay right away from this park.she should of had the courtesy to ring us straight away we were up at 5.30am and left at 8am she said she was up 5 and we should of gone and seen her mind u office hrs are from 9am till 5pm she had our number but no we had to ring her and as for the upgrade well that was a throw off she had no intentions of upgrading us at all if so she would of contacted us and not us having to ring her never again The park has alot of potential if maintenance was done it's a big fire hazard with all the debris around

we have stayed here twice now and absolutely love it! everything is so clean, access to a beautiful part of the river, 3 pools of different temperatures staff are all very welcoming and accommodating if you're thinking of staying here you won't regret it! the only thing other park have that this doesnt is a splash parks but you dont really miss it.

I had a wonderful stay in the villas here! Such a magical spot with never ending sounds of nature. The rooms were clean and tidy with views looking though the trees and onto the river. It can be a little confusing driving down (Apple maps work best if you’re on iPhone) but the team do their best making it as clear as possible. It’s a good 5-10 mins off the main road - makes it feel like a real escape, which I loved. Team were 10/10 friendly too, service with smile.

This weekend my daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at Murray Bend. It was absolutely beautiful. The venue was picturesque, clean, very well maintained and a perfect location for their country wedding. The staff, Katie, Tina, Steven and Kel were so friendly, they went above and beyond in everything we requested. From the moment my husband and I arrived (2 days before the wedding) their enthusiasm was obvious. Everything was organised and ran smoothly. A lot of the guests commented on how lovely the staff were. I would highly recommend this venue and staff for your upcoming wedding.
