Good campground to go to. The hosts are always friendly and the campground/bathrooms are always kept up nice. If you have kids they have some swings and a play area for them to have fun. Couple downgrades is that There is no cell service hardly at all in the campground!... you will have to go closer to the lake to get any service. Dump station was a thing here but looks like they closed it for good, so make sure you are aware of having to dump somewhere else.
No Dump Station!! No cell service!! This place just wants to steal your money. That’s why you don’t see on their website that their dump station is out of service. We found out that it has been out of service since they opened the park and do not plan on ever reopening it back up. There is a sign at the dump station suggesting an alternate place to dump, about 10 miles away at a gas station. Who wants to do that when you paid the campground, plus the hassle of having to maneuver a large RV into a gas station. Plus no cell service. We ended up leaving after the first night, and of course, they kept our fees for the next 2 days. What a rip off. They deserve ZERO stars!
Beautiful and an ideal location if you have a sailboat to moor for a season. Or picnic next to calm fresh water on a hot day on August Not sure exactly why the restrooms are now locked all day. How much does tp cost? The County can afford to own hundreds of parks but not a roll of TP ! Boggles the mind :(
Beautiful park. Lots of amenities (bathrooms, shaded pavilions, play structure, water & land activities, grills, etc.) and very spacious. We hold our annual company 'BBQ' here and really enjoy it! So much fun. Lots of wasps though despite numerous traps.
What a great place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were nice and clean. The campsite was roomy and in the trees. We had a nice view of the lake and the marina. Will definitely return.
