Diamond Lake Resort

There’s no camaraderie quite like the bond between siblings. Our stay at the little lakeside cabin at Diamond Lake was perfection; a weekend filled with childhood stories and cherished memories of those no longer with us. Between sharing new recipes and grilling burgers and ribs over a cozy log fire, the atmosphere was pure comfort. We toasted to the year gone by, laughed until it hurt over our favorite old jokes, and watched the geese and ducks drift across the water. Surrounded by peace, love, and laughter, we left with full hearts. We’ll be back again and again!

My family and I spent this last week here and it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The kids loved the go karts, park, mini golf, and playing outside with the ducks! We spent most of our time fishing and just relaxing! We also really liked how we could get away from it all, but if we needed anything it was just a 20 minute trip to town. I can't wait for our next visit!

This place was perfect for me. Had a job that kept me in Owensboro for almost 8 months. The location was central to most of the areas I had to work. Electric and sewer hookups worked fine. Big lot to stretch out. Halloween decorations were great! Trick or treating fun! Lots of families celebrating every weekend. Package deliveries accepted. Camp store was well stocked and accessible. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. Pizza was great. Enjoyed my first Burgoo experience at this park. Double AA section was the best!! Friendly folks and fun times! Karaoke rocked!! We have looked forward to this trip for a few months now and the Boo Fest has always been so fun! This time around we felt like it was a little disorganized. They didn’t have us a packet and provided no information upon check in. We found out about the events through other campers and things were changed last minute. There were kids (under driving age) driving reckless on golf carts all hours of the night and then I opened my camper door to a sheriff with a gun drawn towards a camper down the hill from us. I didn’t feel safe to say the least! I typically do not write reviews and I’ve loved coming here for the past few years, but after this year I do not think we will return!

Went our first time during 2025 boo fest. The grandkids had a great time. We will definitely be back. They have so many activities we had trouble fitting them all in. The staff are super friendly and helpful. You can tell they put a lot of effort into planning gone boo fest. The kids said the haunted house was one of the best they had been to. Thank you to everyone there for helping us make great memories with our grandkids.
