We stayed in the sites further from the beach which we liked. The grounds are well-kept, walking distance to the golf course, a restaurant, mini-gulf & village merchants. The park was full of families & pets and pleasantly quiet. Washrooms are rustic but looked after. Shower room is cold & have to pay $1 for 2-3 mins of water you have no control over the temperature. When you pay for park entry & site, I don't think you should be paying for showers. Otherwise, a nice park for camping.
The campground has a lot of potential, is very peaceful overall and in a great location, but the campsites are far too close together for any modicum of privacy, especially when many of the campers are seasonal with VERY big rigs, golf carts and lots of stuff! The shower/washroom buildings are probably the worst I have encountered - the smaller single washrooms seemed to be a little more pleasant, however. We were also a little blindsided that we still had to pay a $10 per day fee, per vehicle (we had 2) despite having paid for a campsite - good value at $50 for the season if you're staying a while, but not so much if you're only there for 3 days.
Good place for campsite. Only complaints, small beach and lots of mosquitoes.
We have a seasonal site and love our time there, we just wish we still had fish worth catching there. No walleye, only jacks😏
Great family campground, beach, parks, minigolf. Very clean washrooms and shower facilities. 2018 firewood is 5 dollars a bundle.
