My 2 childrens and I love go ride carnival and fairgrounds . My kids want see more different rides . reason I put 4 star out of 5 because of lack few rides compared old time 80s to 90s has more rides carnival different rides than currently. Also tour around the fairgrounds noticed down size. Worsen than before. Hopefully in future fairgrounds Lynden need more like... Washington State Fair. More show and more rides and more crowds...
For those of us that grew up going to fairs, the Northwest Washington fair definitely is a great time. Great local vendors, food, fun rides, the fair games that you never win but have a good time and really cool animals. Great time for the whole family!
Always a good place to visit. Carnival, exhibits, lots of arts and craft vendors, and lots of food vendors to choose from. The classic cars were pretty awesome. Lots of souvenirs like character drawings and picture buttons. We found cheap parking close by. I thought the carnival wrist band was a bit on the expensive side however my family enjoyed attending this event.
Great time at the Northwest Washington Fair! The Lynden fair is always super clean. The kids had fun in the carnival and the livestock displays were clean and nice to look at. The food was classic fair stuff like funnel cakes, plus some local options. The live music was definitely a highlight. Ludacris one night, Walker Hayes on another, and an epic concert with Ace Frehley, original member of KISS, and Steven Adler, original member of GUNS N’ ROSES! The rodeo was exciting, and the demolition derby was over the top!
Went to watch a young friend in a barrel racing event. Really clean, nicely laid out and well maintained facility. Horse barn, warm up arena and main arena with audience seating. Announcers were friendly but not overly chatty. Competitors were supportive of each other. Volunteers who were watching helped reset knocked over barrels. Talented "tractor guy" who got as close to barrels as possible and never knocked into any of them. Great first experience with this fairgrounds/horse event.
