Oleander Acres RV Resort

My wife is an amateur photographer of plants/bugs and wildlifes. While planning the Rio Grande Valley RV trip couple names that keep coming up from search are Oleander Nursery in Mission Texas which is conveniently located inside Oleander acres RV resort, plus it has a butterfly garden and dog park. The online reservation is simple. We were greeted by the most friendly staff on arrival, thank you Tonya, Dean and Salome. The pull-thru site is spacious and not so crowded. The campsite next to the garden was beautiful and full of butterflies, what a delight. Some facilities are showing the age but the club house bathroom and shower is clean. Oleander Acres makes a convenient basecamp to explore nearby National butterfly Center and 3 Texas State park/birding center, while next to the city of Mission for all the food and supplies. Will definitely come back .

We so very much enjoyed our stay.. We got there and our septic site was clogged and they quickly helped us and moved us to another site. We got lucky and got the site next to the butterfly garden. I loved it... The residents as well as guest were all so friendly. We are looking forward to our next stay here.

They are very nice and polite people we had a nice time while we stayed there. We loved everything about it.

It’s very calm, peaceful and very quiet, not a fan of the service, we told the staff to cut the grass around our Rv but when we arrived to the Rv the window was broken and there was a rock inside, so we told the ladies at the main office but they didn’t care and one of our family members had stayed at this Rv park before and got his boots stollen. I would come back but I wouldn’t ask the staff to do lawn maintenance or anything else, if I need something I would just do it myself.

Great RV , trailer park….! The location is excellent, just one mile to town…. Very laid back, friendly people, quiet….. they have a very nice butterfly garden, one of the best….
