Gas N Wash

I have been going to this location for quite sometime now. You have a man working there by the name of Dan who is fantastic. Very friendly and always doing something. I thought he was the manager but he is not. He works like he is! This is the type of person you should have running one of your stores!

Truck park $15 for 24 hrs. Tuesday 11pm I found parkin lot somewhat empty, few consumers upfront, sandwich prices jacked up. Had I known its paid - would've parked in Gary for free

This review is for truck drivers only.... This is not a pilot. This is the first truck stop i've ever seen with paid only parking.All parking is behind a gate. The employees here are rude. The showers are disgusting. Plastic shower inserts. Very pungent of mold and mildew. Water doesn't get hot enough very lousy water.Pressure. Towels are disgusting. Avoid this place if you can help it. I should have taken a photo of the disgusting showers, but I did not.

On October 11, 2025, the rental vehicle I was driving was damaged while in the cleaning “tunnel.” (Word used by employees) I put the vehicle in neutral as instructed and started moving. I was surrounded by the brushes and curtains washing the vehicle and then heard honking. The manager came along aside saying something about hitting. Long story short the car behind me damaged the back because the machine stopped the vehicle and kept the others moving. Associate Jose asked me to sign a blank investigation form detailing what happened and the damage. I explained I will not sign a blank document and asked him to write his findings then I’ll sign. He put I jumped the rollers and cause the collision. How would I have done anything if the car was being controlled by the machine. He said he was on break and didn’t see what happened. I asked to speak to a manager because how was someone that did not witness the incident write a statement about the incident. Manager Kevin kept saying he did not know what happened. He began to raise his voice and told me to go ahead and call the police because what did I want to happen. He explained that it was too busy of a day for the cameras to be reviewed. Kevin asked the other and driver and I how did Jose come up with this statement? (Yet Jose said Kevin told him to write those words) also there wasn’t any other manager to could handle the situation. He was totally unprofessional. I told him I too was in management and did not appreciate him volume or tone. A couple of days later, I was contacted by district manager Josh that confused my incident with another collision incident that happened at that same wash hours prior to mine (collisions are an issue I guess). Long story short he told me he review the camera and saw the machine take the vehicle (which mean I had zero control) and then the vehicle stops while the rollers kept moving. He says the car must have had an auto break on it. But I asked does all cars have auto breaks and which cars does. He admitted he did not know and I asked then how can you assume that’s what happened. He said he denied the claim and I had to call their corporate number to talk to the legal department. Once I did that the operator seemed confused about the request and game me the number to a female manager. The same manger I have already left messages for and no response. So I have to pay or my insurance cover a nearly 1200 dollars in damages created by gas n wash. I would really like someone to get back to me about this matter. I see unpleasant reviews get responses

This is the most cleanest facility I have ever seen in a while comparing to most gas stations in the certain area. I really applaud you all especially when the workers work out side in the cold with no coats on checking garbage cans, paper towels etc…… the whole place is clean. What I can say about the Dunkin’ Donuts in there. Now they have this breakfast sandwich called maple sugar bacon so good the only thing throws it off is they cook the eggs to long to where it taste mushy, but if they will correct the eggs that sandwich will go from great to amazing, but my over all experience was awesome thanks guys keep up the good work I truly appreciate your time, patient, and kindness have a happy thanksgiving!!
