Negative points of my stay: Upon arrival, despite my reservation for two nights, I was moved to a different campsite under the pretext that my trailer was too large and that a private party was scheduled to take place on the originally reserved site. The replacement site was located directly across from tent campers, lacking privacy and space. The seasonal camper next door was playing beanbag toss only three feet from my fire pit, making the area noisy. His visitors constantly walked through my campsite instead of going around it, disturbing the peace and quiet and showing a lack of respect for my site. This situation led me to leave after only one night, even though I had never shortened a camping trip before. Positive point: The beach, which was pleasant.
Beautiful beach with access to Lake St. Jean
A warm welcome and very clean... just don't go there in a tent. I slept closer to the neighbors than to my own children in my tent. My pitch was practically on top of the toilets, in a tiny space. The neighboring campsite had a nice spot right on the beach; if I'd known, I would have gone there. But I have no complaints about the cleanliness.
The place is beautiful on the Lake, but the passersby's grounds are ridiculous. We were installed on a permanent street, unable to open the awning otherwise the cars will hook it the 'ground' was 10'x30'……and we have a 26' trailer……if you have anything other than a tent trailer do not go there. On camping Québec they say that dogs are accepted, arrived on site these other things, we were asked not to take the dog out of the 10x30 pitch and 8x26 trailer…….that's it….we left the next morning even though we had reserved 2 nights
Beach and bathroom very clean. Lifeguards on duty. No restaurants nearby.
