Bear Creek Public Use Area

The area was accessible and open to everyone. You could tell it was designed for public comfort.

No grass, weeds have not been cut in a while. Generally feels unkept. Very quiet and secluded. Great views of the river. Seems like it would be a nice place to canoe. Fish jumping and raptors soaring overhead. Wetter and muddier than I expected.

> When this area gets wet, it gets muddy and even with 4-wheel drive you may find it a challenge getting out of the camping areas. Make sure you have a tow rope handy so your buddy can pull you out of the rutted ditch that sucked your jeep right up against a tree. Nice place to fish from the banks. Great place to boondock camp along as it's not too wet.

One of my favorite places to camp. No power, no water, no people. Just stay away when it floods.
