Menahga Campground

Used the RV dump station for a small fee. Great to have when you need to empty your tanks.

I stayed for one night on a pass through with my kids. I picked it for its convenient location mostly. I normally stay at state parks and this site was really hard for me. Its right on a busy road and the sounds of cars and trucks was all night long. Teens went through the campground around 10:30 with a really loud car and were yelling out the windows. They did several pass throughs. You could still hear their car ripping around for about 20 minutes In the area. Also this is the kind of campground with no privacy or brush between sites. Not the end of the world, but wish I had known that. Cars were still passing through the campground up until midnight and my tent would flooded with headlights because of how open the site is. Bathrooms, camp pad, and park were all in good shape.

Hubby worked the potatoes harvest this fall and we were put up in one of the 50amp sites at Menahga city park. Sort of a diamond in the rough. Great place to stay, mix of 30 only and 50 amp sites + water, there is a dump station. Very pretty park with nice play ground, a great disk golf course and walking trails. Nights are pretty quiet considering its a public park. Lots of trees which gives a gorgeous color change in the fall. Ralph is the caretaker, super nice guy. Starlink works great here, Verizon and T-mobile works well. Bath and shower house available,, average shape for a public cg. Sites are spacious with lots of trees. Would definitely come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed for nearly a month, and Dustyne was very flexible with the City of Menahga to work with us on uncertain leave dates and to reduce rates for a period when we left the camper there and drove to see a relative. Ralph, the caretaker, knew us well and left us some wood once - even going so far as to borrow us a staple gun! It's a beautiful property with great walking trails and in a beautiful part of MN. There is a great wifi hotspot, and although we didn't use them, we heard the showers were wonderful, and the playground was well-kept. The frisbee golf folks were never a disruption, and we even had the whole campground to ourselves a few times...our dogs just loved it, and we did too. Highly recommend!!!

This campground is awesome. Ralph is a great caretaker for this campground. He does an awesome job keeping it very clean and nice. Would definitely go there again. Was great to see the police patrol it also.
