Lake Pines Campground

Aside from the train and the firing ranges it's a nice quiet campground. It doesn't take long to get used to the trains though.

We stayed at Lake Pines overnight was just passing thru. The RV park is beautiful during the night with all the lights. Campsite was great and the map gave us great information. The staff were very accommodating. We will stay here again if in the area.

Although their web site says it has wifi hot spots, they do not offer wifi at all. Nov. 2025, still location if fine. Grounds are as well and only one night was needed. Good enough for a $50 30 amp. PT.

My wife and I were attending a wedding. The park is very clean. It is also very hilly [is that a word?] So wear flats and not heals per my wife. Very nice event center with brick and wooden floors. A seperate chapel on-site and a seperate cottage for groom and bride fitting areas. A huge stone gazebo outside of the event center. We loved it all.

We heard Fort Benning ordinance and small arms fire up until midnight. The showers were better on the women's side, and had high water pressure, but ran out of hot water for the second shower.
