The caravan Park never disappoints, we've stayed in several spots on different occasions but Dome 115 is our "home away from home" Now newly renovated, soft cosy beds, mini fridge, crockery, with tea and coffee, all you need!! We've tried the original tiny house, awesome in winter!! Warm, great verandah, amazing views through the trees to the River. Both caravan park sites have clean and great facities, the main caravan parks camp kitchen is amazing, life goals!! If you want a quiet bush feel choose river bend, if you want to be mega close to town choose the main, but river bend is our favourite spot and it's a 500m walk to town. Hosts are super friendly and accomodating. For me it's as simple as pull up and live your best life. Well done on the reno on 115, next we try the new tree house!!!
We often travel through Nannup and think what a lovely town. On whim we decided to stay at the caravan park for a couple of nights. There are 4 of us, so we were given one of the space age looking family tents. It was a hot couple of days and the ventilation in these tents is not good. The tent we got was also very exposed, with almost no shade. We were pretty cooked by the end of the stay. Luckily we found some relief at the local swimming hole. The amenities were ok although the bbq didn't work. And when I informed the staff of the issue, rather than accept this as something that needed attention, l got a rather dismissive "well, no one else has complained about it".
Nice, quiet park. They gave us 2 sites to set up as our setup is pretty long. Nice clean amenities. Short walk to the shops or trails. The Thai van that sets up at the park on Thursday, Friday & Saturday is definitely worth visiting. Delicious 😋
I was unaware. The Caravan Park is split into TWO locations. What is advertised is not necessarily where you will be given a site. Due to WA rental crisis there are lots of "tent residents". The CareTakers were not present. There was no friendly interactions with park staff at all. Tenting Residents had taken up our powered plug and most of our site bay. They blared their TV all hours of the night. The Bookings Staff were well aware we had 3 small children in our family party and situated us at the very bottom of the second site and neither the playground nor camp amenities were accessible to us at all. We booked MONTHS in advance. Site availability should have accommodated our needs. Not even being situated at the first park for a Parents Room for our toddlers/infant. Our Park Booking stipulated we had toddler children. Mum was denied a bay as website advised dogs ARE permitted. We were told our little dog was not permitted yet the bays right next to us on both sides had bigger medium size dogs. We paid an exorbitant rate for January 1st. And the service nor facilities did not reflect this costing at all. Very Poor Park management in our experience. Would Not reccommend for young families.
Don't listen to bad reviews, this place is fine. Amenities clean, pleasant campground and easy walk to shops. We're here 2 days before Christmas and plenty of room and quiet. Site fees very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.
