A lovely family campground close to both Carleton Place and Perth. Bathrooms were clean staff were helpful. It would be nice to have emore options for overnight campers to set up
Just spent a week there been spending the last four Labour Day weekends there I am trying to get in the park permanently. It’s the most welcoming campground I’ve been to Ian is a great service provider along with his daughter and his mother. The conversations are kept meticulously clean everything’s reasonably priced great place for the kids. I don’t know why people are saying it’s very clicky and not welcoming from the first time I was there at the seasonal campers welcome to me in with open arms, and I don’t feel anybody has a sense of entitlement as I’ve read other reviews and if people wanna stay up and drink till four in the morning, they allow it as long as you’re quiet, respectful to others I could not recommend a better place for family. Vacation will be bucking there yearly for weekends until I get a permanent site They plan lots of activities and they even invite the weekend transit campers into the campground activities. My kids got to do Halloween this year as well as previous years. We’ve been there for concerts and they allow us as transients that’s put on by the campers association.
Great Rv park mostly seasonal campers, but the few transient sites they offer are really nice.
Grounds are beautiful and good location. Staff were friendly when I went but I heard it's not always the case. Main Facebook page blocks people for no reason.... When my friend reached out, they refused to help and had zero reason for the block. So I guess I'll stay blocked? Permanent campers are also not very welcoming and it's very cliquy. Some party well after midnight when I was there last summer. There is a sense of entitlement:( That's enough for me not wanting to go there anymore.... Hope everyone else has a different experience.
We love this campsite! The area, the people and the management are all great! The grounds are very well maintained, including the facilities. Multiple docks, beaches and a large playground for the kids. The people are all friendly and inviting. You will find yourself engaging with friendly folks everywhere you go. They also seem to all be looking after eachothers trailers and families. It is very much tailored for families with children and all the children form little packs haha. Its awesome! The family that owns the park are easy to deal with and i get along with them very well. Simply respect the people and the park and youll have an amazing time. The lot fees are pretty standard considering other parks we looked at.
